This article discusses how coal with different properties like anthracite and bituminous can be burned together efficiently in large power station boilers. By understanding the characteristics of each type of coal and adjusting operational methods, the boiler's coal pulverizing and combustion systems can work better with a mix of coals. The results show that by optimizing how the systems work with various coals, the boiler becomes more secure and cost-effective.
