The researchers looked into using Australian coal to make coal water slurry to tackle a shortage in raw coal. By studying Australian coal reserves and output, they discovered that making long-term deals with Australian coal companies could save money and decrease resource strain. Tests showed that blending Australian coal with Tianyi coal resulted in a high-quality slurry with over 64.5% concentration, low viscosity, and high calorific value, suitable for slurry preparation.
