Agile software development often uses user stories to break down complex requirements, but they may not capture the bigger picture of system goals. A new method called agile agent-oriented modelling (AAOM) combines visual tools with goal-model creation techniques to connect goals to user stories more intuitively. A case study showed that AAOM is effective for requirements engineering in agile projects.
