The study looked at different types of soil in China to see how they are affected by the materials they come from and how they are used. They found that the size of soil aggregates and their stability varied depending on the parent material and land use. Water-stable aggregates increased in smaller sizes after wet sieving. The weight and destruction of aggregates were related, with more weight leading to less stability. The type of soil and how it is used both play a role in the composition and stability of soil aggregates.
