The study analyzed the quality of drinking water in rural areas of Haiyang city from 2010 to 2012. They tested 240 water samples and found that only 40% met the safety standards. The main factors affecting water quality were bacteria and turbidity levels. The study suggests that rural drinking water quality in Haiyang city needs improvement.
