Human activities like burning fossil fuels and deforestation have increased greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, leading to global warming. This warming is predicted to have significant impacts on plants and ecosystems. Studies on ecosystem warming can help predict changes in terrestrial biomes. However, comparing results from different warming facilities has made model predictions uncertain. This paper discusses field facilities used to simulate climate warming and their applications in different ecosystems.
