The International Criminal Jurisdiction allows the international community to define and investigate international crimes. International criminal tribunals, domestic courts, and hybrid tribunals can all handle cases of international crime. They follow three main principles for sharing power: concurrent jurisdiction, exclusive jurisdiction, and complementary jurisdiction.
