New Process Converts Phosphogypsum into Ammonium Sulfate with 98.98% Efficiency
Researchers conducted experiments to produce ammonium sulfate from phosphogypsum by reacting it with other materials. They tested different factors like time, temperature, and mixing speed to find the best conditions. After optimizing the process, they found that with specific settings, they could convert almost all of the sulfate in the phosphogypsum into ammonium sulfate.
