Different compound fertilizers were tested on sugarcane to see how they affected yield and quality. Niutou compound fertilizer showed the best results, with higher seedling emergence, growth rate, and sucrose content in sugarcane. It also increased cane yield by 82.9-113.8 kg/kg compared to other fertilizers. Niutou fertilizer helped prevent soil acidification and improved soil conditions. Less Niutou fertilizer was needed to produce the same yield as other fertilizers, without harming soil health or groundwater. If the price of Niutou fertilizer goes down, growing sugarcane could become more profitable and eco-friendly.
