The goal was to evaluate how effectively irrigation water is used in Lizigu Irrigation Areas in Tianjin City. They analyzed data on water use efficiency and benefits using a new method. Results from 2004 to 2008 show that the sustainable use of irrigation water improved steadily over time. Key factors that influence water use sustainability include the canal system, the quality of irrigation infrastructure, and how well water is managed. It was found that enhancing water-saving projects and improving water management practices are crucial for ensuring the sustainable use of irrigation water in Tianjin City.
