The study looked at how the development of logistics in different regions of China is related to the economic growth in those areas. By analyzing data from 1991 to 2007, the researchers found that there is a strong connection between the two factors in all three regions (eastern, central, and western China). In the eastern region, both logistics development and economic growth influence each other, while in the other regions, logistics development mainly drives economic growth.
