A new soybean variety called Zhengdou 04023 was created by crossing two parent plants. It has high and stable yields, can resist multiple diseases, and grows well in different environments. In trials, Zhengdou 04023 produced more soybeans than other varieties, with good quality grains. It is also resistant to soybean mosaic virus and lodging. This new variety was approved in 2012 for use in Henan province.
