New study shows 2,4-D boosts Dunaliella salina growth and nutrient production
The researchers studied how adding 2,4-D to Dunaliella salina affected its growth and composition. They found that using 0.1 mg/L of 2,4-D led to higher cell density and increased production of β-carotene compared to the control group. The levels of chlorophyll and total soluble proteins were similar across all treatments.
