The article presents a new model for assessing the abundance of water resources in different basins. The researchers used a dynamic equation based on the maximum flux principle to build a model that evaluates the state of water resources systems objectively. By applying this model to the Liaoxi Coastal River, they found that some basins had very dry or medium water resources abundance levels. The results were compared with other models and found to be reasonable and practical. This model can help predict and evaluate the abundance of water resources in various systems.
