Spatial analysis reveals high levels of trace elements in Shouguang soil.
The researchers studied how trace elements are spread in Shouguang soil using semi-variogram and Moran's I methods. They found that trace elements in the soil have a good spatial structure, with stronger correlation in the surface soil compared to deep soil. The spatial correlation distance for these elements is around 20-60 km. The Moran's I method was more accurate than semi-variogram in analyzing the spatial correlation of soil elements.
