New Hybrid Rice Planting Techniques Boost Yields and Efficiency
The study analyzed the genetic relationship between different traits in two types of hybrid rice. They found that certain traits like filled grain number and seed setting rate were linked to higher yields in specific types of hybrid rice. Increasing planting density led to a decrease in effective panicle per panicle. Large-spike cultivars benefited from higher planting density, while compatible panicle-kernel types did better with lower planting density.
