The study looked at how efficient agricultural technology is in different regions of China and how this affects overall productivity. They used data from 27 provinces over a 10-year period and found that the eastern region of China is better at agricultural production. They also discovered that from 2003 to 2012, all provinces improved their technology efficiency each year. The total productivity of agricultural production increased by 5.10% annually, with the main sources of growth being better efficiency and technological progress.
