Optimal transplanting date and fertilizer levels boost flue-cured tobacco yield.
The researchers studied how different planting dates, spacing, and fertilizer amounts affect the growth and quality of flue-cured tobacco. They found that planting tobacco on April 25th or 30th resulted in higher yields and better quality leaves. Using a planting density of 120 cm x 60 cm and a fertilizer level of 135 kg/hm2 was best for tobacco production. These factors significantly impact the growth, development, yield, and quality of flue-cured tobacco plants.
