By using fuzzy pattern recognition, the researchers divided the sensitive areas into different levels based on how they respond to water level fluctuations. They then developed rules for selecting monitoring profiles to track these changes. The findings provide guidance on where to place monitoring devices to better understand and predict landslides caused by reservoir water level changes.
