The study looked at how to increase farmland in Xiantao City, Hubei province through agricultural land consolidation. By analyzing the plains, they found that there is a lot of potential for this type of consolidation. In fact, they discovered that up to 30% of new cultivated land could be created through this process. This means that by focusing on specific areas, it is possible to predict and create more land for farming in the region.
