The Lu'an Chengbei Sewage Treatment Plant used an improved Carrousel oxidation ditch process to treat urban sewage effectively. In 2010, the plant achieved high removal rates for pollutants like CODcr, BOD5, SS, NH3-N, TN, and TP. The water quality released from the plant met strict standards, except for suspended solids. Despite initial challenges, technological innovations resolved early operational issues, leading to stable and excellent treatment results.
