The article explores how human actions drive changes in land use in Guizhou Province's karst mountain area. By analyzing data from the past decade, researchers identified key factors influencing land use change, such as food availability and the number of people working in agriculture. They found that population density and grain production are closely linked to changes in land use. Through multiple regression analysis, it was determined that human activities account for 70% to 90% of land use changes in the region.
