The study looked at how different types of land use affect soil erosion in various regions of China. By analyzing soil erosion intensity and land use patterns, researchers found that the rate of soil erosion varies between different types of land. New wasteland experiences higher erosion rates than idle wasteland, while grassland and non-irrigated farmland also show high erosion rates. Interestingly, the intensity of soil erosion on land used for construction decreases after construction is completed. Overall, the study highlights the complex relationship between land use and soil erosion in different regions.
