The study looked at how different types of fertilizer and irrigation methods affect nutrient leaching, pH, and EC in growing media. Using top irrigation with normal chemical fertilizer caused nutrient leaching. Bottom irrigation led to higher pH and EC levels, regardless of the fertilizer used. Bottom irrigation also increased salt accumulation when normal chemical fertilizer was used.
