New study reveals key factors for successful IVF in unexplained infertility.
The study looked at factors affecting fertilization rates in couples with unexplained infertility undergoing their first IVF treatment. They divided patients into two groups based on high or low fertilization rates. The results showed that age and certain hormone levels did not differ between the groups, but couples with shorter infertility duration had higher fertilization rates. Also, the number of mature eggs and good-quality embryos were higher in the group with better fertilization rates. Ultimately, couples with shorter infertility duration and more mature eggs had higher pregnancy rates after IVF.
