Microbial contamination found in rural drinking water, urgent action needed!
The goal of the study was to check the quality of drinking water in rural areas of Qufu City. Researchers tested 120 water samples from 25 different points using standard methods. They found that 75.83% of the samples met the quality standards. However, the main issue was the presence of bacteria in the water, which could be harmful. The study suggests that improving water purification and disinfection processes can help enhance the quality of drinking water in rural areas.
