Optimizing Nitrogen Management Boosts Late Rice Yield and Quality!
The study looked at how different ways of adding nitrogen to late rice crops affect their yield and quality. By delaying some nitrogen fertilization, the rice grew better and had higher yields. The best results were seen when 53.8% of the nitrogen was applied at the beginning. Quality improved with more nitrogen added later, but appearance and cooking quality decreased. Delaying nitrogen also improved how efficiently the rice used nitrogen. The best ratios for nitrogen application were 40%-50% at the beginning, 20%-30% in the middle, and 20%-30% at the end.
