A study tested a new method using powdered active carbon (PAC) and ultrafiltration (UF) to clean water in a sedimentation tank. They found that adding more PAC improved the removal of pollutants like CODMn and UV254. The more PAC added, the better the cleaning. Also, adding PAC helped prevent the filter from getting clogged. The filter could be cleaned with chemicals and used again.
