A pilot study tested a new way to clean drinking water from Bei River using a mix of coagulation, sedimentation, and ultrafiltration. The hybrid process removed more pollutants and reduced turbidity better than the traditional method. It also lowered membrane fouling, making the ultrafiltration system work more efficiently. This shows that the hybrid process can make drinking water safer to drink.
