Fenton method revolutionizes Chinese medicine wastewater treatment, meets state discharge standard
Chinese medicine wastewater, which is difficult to treat due to high COD levels and low pH, was studied using the Fenton method. By adjusting factors like the ratio of H2O2 to FeSO4, FeSO4 dosage, pH, and reaction time, researchers found the optimal conditions for treatment. Under these conditions, the COD removal rate reached 87.50%, and the COD concentration in the effluent water decreased to below 62 mg/L, meeting state discharge standards.
