The article analyzes how switching from a coal-fired boiler to a gas boiler can save energy and reduce harmful emissions. The researchers studied the energy efficiency and emissions of the new heating system in Tianjin. They found that the retrofitting project of boiler buildings can significantly decrease energy consumption and lower the release of harmful products into the environment.
