New Treatment Breakthrough: Phenol Wastewater Cleaned Up to 92.5%
The researchers used Fenton reagent and UV/Fenton reagent to treat phenol wastewater. They found that using Fenton reagent led to a significant increase in treatment efficiency. Under specific conditions, they achieved a removal rate of 92.5% for phenol and 53.4% for COD in wastewater with initial phenol concentration at 250 mg/L.
