Farmers Lose Land Rights as Collective Ownership Fragments
In the study, researchers questioned the idea of separating rural land rights into three parts during land transfers. They focused on transfering management rights of contracted land. The problems identified include: land rights cannot be divided in the way suggested, the meaning of management and use rights is unclear, and the buyer does not gain management rights. The concept of separating land rights into three distinct areas was found to be scientifically flawed.
