The goal of the study is to use economic incentives, like adjusting water prices, to encourage more efficient use of water in irrigation projects. By changing traditional attitudes towards water use, spreading water-saving technology, and improving management practices, water resources can be better conserved and irrigation projects can become more sustainable.
