Different types of fertilizer were tested on soybean plants to see how they affect plant growth and seed quality. Organic fertilizer helped soybeans grow taller, while controlled release compound fertilizer increased chlorophyll levels. All fertilizers improved seed quality, with organic fertilizer increasing protein content the most and controlled release compound fertilizer increasing fat content the most. Overall, using fertilizer significantly improved the protein and fat content of soybean seeds compared to not using any fertilizer.
