Revolutionizing Dry Farming: New Fertilization Methods Boost Crop Yields
The study looked at how different fertilization methods affect the growth of spring-rape plants in dry farming areas. Three fertilization modes were tested, all of which increased the plant's ability to produce branches, pods, and heavier seeds. These modes also significantly boosted the plant's yield and water use efficiency. Compared to traditional fertilization methods, the new modes increased production rates by 13.10%, 25.00%, and 30.95%, respectively, and water use efficiency by 9.31%, 25.24%, and 48.77%. The study concluded that using balanced fertilizers can help crops reach their full yield potential in dry farming areas.
