Organic manure boosts rice yield and nitrogen efficiency in red soil.
The study looked at how adding organic manure along with regular fertilizer affects nitrogen levels and rice yield in red soil paddy fields. They found that using both types of fertilizer together increased nitrogen content in the soil and improved nitrogen use efficiency. For early rice, the yield was higher with the combined fertilizer, while for late rice, the yield was significantly higher. Nitrogen use efficiency was also better with the combined fertilizer compared to using only inorganic fertilizer.
