The researchers wanted to see if mixing rubidate with hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin (HP-β-CD) could make rubidate dissolve better. They made different mixtures of rubidate and HP-β-CD and found that the mixtures dissolved faster than just rubidate alone. The highest dissolution rate was when the ratio of rubidate to HP-β-CD was 1:1.5. This means that using HP-β-CD can help rubidate dissolve more easily.
