The study looked at how Southwest China's industries and economy changed before and after a development strategy was put in place. They used a method called Shift-share to analyze this. The results showed that Southwest China's industrial structure improved after the strategy was implemented. To keep growing, Southwest China needs to focus on using its regional advantages, working together with other provinces, and boosting the modern service industry. This will help make the region more competitive and successful in the future.
