The study looked at how rainfall and runoff work in semi-humid areas in north China. By using a double-excess model, researchers were able to predict floods in the Wenyuhe catchment accurately. They found that most model parameters stayed consistent across different years, except for a few sensitive ones. This means the model can be used to forecast floods in these areas effectively.
