The efficiency of Anhui's inland ports was analyzed using DEA and Malmquist Index models. The study looked at 5 major ports from 2002 to 2010. The research found that the ports' overall efficiency initially improved and then declined, along with technical and scale efficiency. Total factor productivity fluctuated, mostly decreasing due to technical regress.
