Urban agriculture is important for cities in terms of economy, environment, and society. However, there is a lack of research on how urban agriculture relates to city planning. This paper looks at urban agriculture in different countries, emphasizes its role in sustainable city development, and discusses the challenges in implementing it. The study suggests practical solutions to promote urban agriculture in cities.
