Soil salinity and moisture levels were studied in the Yellow River Delta. The surface soil had high salt levels, with moderate variability in salinity and moisture across different depths. The distribution of salinity and moisture was influenced by factors like topography and groundwater. Using a CoKriging method, researchers found that estimating deeper soil salinity using surface data was more accurate than using moisture data, reducing estimation errors by 167.36%.
