The study analyzed climate changes in Tacheng region from 1961 to 2008. They found that temperatures and precipitation increased, while sunshine hours and wind speed decreased. Evapotranspiration decreased, leading to increased humidity. Sudden changes in temperature, precipitation, and humidity occurred in the late 1980s. Different climate elements showed varying periodic changes between 3-23 years.
