The article compares the technical processes and characteristics of IGCC and methanol production in different configurations. The goal is to determine the best way to co-produce IGCC and methanol on a large scale. The researchers found that both series and parallel connections of IGCC and methanol are feasible, and a combination of both could be ideal for a demonstration project during the 12th Five-Year Plan period.
