The main bridge of Zhengzhou Huanghe River Rail-cum-Road Bridge was built using 24 large bored piles for each pier in the river. To prevent collapse during construction, they used special slurry and pressure-reduction techniques. Reinforcement cages were installed after clearing the holes, and C40 tremie concrete was used for the foundations. By following strict construction methods, 99.6% of the piles met the required standards, even with challenging conditions.
