The book industry in Beijing is facing challenges due to China joining the WTO. To overcome these challenges, the industry needs to understand international market rules, improve capabilities quickly, regulate itself, acquire capital and skilled personnel, expand business scope, and adapt to new technologies. By doing so, the industry can strengthen its competitive power and position in the global market.
