New Method Predicts Water Evaporation in Irrigation Regions with 97.7% Accuracy!
The study analyzed factors affecting water evaporation in the Manasi irrigation region using principal component analysis. Three main components were identified: hot/cold air, air dynamics/sunshine, and relative humidity. These components accounted for 97.7% of the variance. A regression equation using two principal components showed significant results compared to a multiple regression equation using all factors. While the multiple regression had slightly better fit, the principal component analysis method showed higher significance levels in the regression coefficients.
