The study analyzed the impact of a tourism development plan in Guangxi's central cities from 2009 to 2013. The results showed that the plan had a positive effect on tourism incomes during this period. However, the growth rate of tourism in the region started to slow down, especially in 2013. The study suggests promoting the sharing of tourist sources and balanced tourism development to address these issues.
