The study focused on managing degraded areas in Yuanmou dry and hot valley by using Tamarindus indica vegetation. By analyzing factors like crop growth, soil, and atmosphere, it was found that using Tamarindus indica helped control soil degradation, reduce soil and water loss, adjust the dry climate, and promote healthy plant growth in the area.
